Massimo RUBBI

My works consist of wavy, fantastic sometimes hominid-shaped marks that follow an almost musical movement, also because I was born and worked as a musician and music teacher. Music precisely I think influences the way I paint my paintings. In many works, I enjoy hiding images such as human figures and shapes or musical instruments almost in an attempt to want to hide them. Other paintings, however, are simply abstract, practically improvised.
