Born in Footscray, Australia in 1973 Medeya has cultivated two passions since childhood: sport and Art. Of a resolutely enthusiastic nature, hands-on and proactive, she worked as a sports coach for several years, without ever ceasing to create in parallel. In 2007, after a tattoo training, she practiced this passion job in Casablanca for a few years while continuing her activity as a sports coach. At the end of 2010, after returning from five years of life spent working abroad, she continued to perfect her drawing and took lessons in a Toulouse studio. At the same time, she decides to reverse the trend. From now on, she would live from her art and dedicate her leisure hours to the practice of sport.
Medeya declines its mixed technique mainly on supports in metal or zinc. His figurative Artworks resemble him. Dynamic and colorful, they draw on multiple influences ranging from street art to tattooing, pop art and entertainment culture.

Often a quote from Picasso runs through my head when I'm faced with my subject of work  "Should we paint what is on a face? What is in a face? Or what is hides behind a face?"
Obviously, his referent Artists are multiple. Francis Bacon, for his way of deconstructing the beings and forms of his subjects, Beksinski for his dreamlike, fantasy, apocalyptic universe, but also the essential Jean-Michel Basquiat, precursor of street-art and all the street artists of today today like the awesome Hopare. To this should be added a long list of tattoo Artists with incredible talents.
