Mariko is best known for her monumental glazed ceramic sculptures. Her inspiration is drawn from the animal kingdom found in Africa and Japanese art such as Miyazaki.  

Mariko is a graduate from Beaux-Arts de Montpellier and has been exhibited at galleries such as Franck Picon Gallery in Paris, Art Basel in Miami and Florida, Gauchet Fine Art in Miami, Florida, and the French Riviera and Galerie du Port in Bonifacio. Her largest work is done for art collectors or cities such as Montpellier, Lamalou les Bains or Sarcelles.

The CÉRAMIQUES are created under instinct, it is the movement of the earth that will guide the creation, it is often so. Sometimes the artist draws curves which will give birth to a volume which can change according to the movement.
