I live in my head and constantly search for peace – not of mind, but from it. My work is a visual representation of my inner world. I’m fascinated by patterns which offer clues to an underlying order. They enable me to analyse a situation and understand what is at play. This helps me assess situations and make sense of things. Unlocking their mysteries gives me an opportunity to manipulate them in order to achieve a desired effect. Colour is the icing on my cake. A pioneer of paint pouring techniques since 2016, Monique was a winner of the Artrepreneur Art Award in 2022 and short-listed for the Creates Magazine Artist Prize in 2018. She has shown in 5 solo shows since 2016, numerous group shows in private galleries, public buildings and museums and been featured widely. She is represented by fine art galleries in the UK, EU and Asia and her Artwork is in private collections all over the world.
