Cy Pavel is a French visual artist, a graduate of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts of Paris. He has a singular approach anchored in the relationship between pictorial fact and figuration. He remains attached to the figurative body as much as to the body matter of the painting. Through very different processes of implementation, he questions different processes, he questions and affirms the memory and the perenniality of the phenomenon, despite its natural fragility, its ever-present erosion, and the advent of new image technologies.
