Fanou MONTEL

This collection follows 2 periods. The first one, purely figurative, where I practiced a lot drawing, pen and watercolour to represent landscapes but also portraits, genre scenes... The second, totally abstract, where I experienced an immense pleasure in playing with colours, lines and shapes. And then I felt the need to add a little reality to my abstraction. So, quite naturally, little by little, some figurative elements reappeared in my abstract compositions. This collection resembles me, it is at the same time strong and soft, enigmatic and clear, imaginative and precise... So much so that there is a chance that it will last...
