The series "EL JARDÍN DE LOS ROSALES" is an attempt to convey a message similar to that of the vanities of antiquity, where symbols of yesteryear such as skulls and candles are transformed into flowers, moving from imitative figuration to a more abstract representation. While the idea of an ephemeral life and the idea that what is really important is invisible and immaterial, coincide with the ancient vanities, those presented in "EL JARDÍN DE LOS ROSALES" allude to a luminous afterlife...
