Sonia DI MACCIO

Painter

A graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et Métiers d'Art in Paris, Sonia Di Maccio worked in advertising as a roughwoman, illustrator, layout artist and then art director at Euro-RSCG (Havas Group). Since living in the Var, Sonia has devoted herself exclusively to painting. The contrasting and powerful colours of the south now inspire her palette. Her heart oscillates between the lively language of watercolour and the stimulating versatility of acrylic. Each of her works tells us a story that makes us accomplices of her perception of things: an impression of plenitude and serenity with life and the sun always strongly present. The emotion produced is then felt in all its authenticity.
