Painter

Pitu is a painter born in 1994 in Martigues in the Bouches du Rhône region of France. She grew up in an artistic world, and her vivid, expressive paintings capture the creative vision she has nurtured since childhood. Pitu began creating at an early age, her self-taught style drawing inspiration from abstract art to neo-expressionism to create a unique approach, placing her work as a notable part of the Art Brut movement. Adopting an experimental, intuitive, and spontaneous approach to her artistic process, Pitu is not beholden to a single medium, instead mixing acrylic, oil pastel, spray can, or India ink. She lives and works in Collioure in the Pyrénées Orientales in France.
