"Jean-Marc Segay, French Artist, was born in Burgundy and currently resides in Provence. After producing essentially figurative works, he seeks other forms of expression and turns towards abstract painting which represents for him a total freedom. His painting is the result of a long period of artistic concentration and his compositions are guided by the juxtaposition of shapes and colors of great diversity by playing with shadow, light and transparency. constantly explores new fields in his artistic expression and does not hesitate to break out of conventional codes. His universe is that of dreams, the imaginary, the unknown."
