Painter

The search for beauty, for the truth that things hide, has been in the eye of this Artist from the beginning. After completing a degree in philosophy and some time devoted to teaching, she decided to take a vital turn and devote herself exclusively to painting. She is not self-taught, she has learned with various masters, especially with the Spanish painter Jesús Miguel Rodriguez de la Torre. Since 2012 she has exhibited in some of the most important art fairs in Europe and has shown her work in galleries in Berlin, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Heidelberg, Essen...

WOMEN THROUGH A WOMAN'S EYES

"Women" is a representation of femininity. It does not pretend to be a catalogue of diversities, but rather a random collection of women whom the Artist has crossed paths with in the street, whom she has seen from afar and photographed, or whom she has invented from a memory, a reflection in her hair or on a shoulder. Strange women, alien, pensive, busy, in their own worlds... Worlds that the Artist expresses through the abstraction in which they merge and confuse. The size of the works 20x20cm is due to the fact that these pieces belong to a larger series "pictorial diary" that the Artist began developing during the confinement of the pandemic, because of her need to create something positive every day, something that could begin and end on the same day.
