Christin Kirchner is a self-taught Artist from Baden-Württemberg. Inspired by Artists such as Wassily Kandinsky, Joan Miró, and Friedensreich Hundertwasser, her Art increasingly developed in the abstract direction in her youth. She has developed her painting to an almost unique level of perfection that offers her a wide variety of expressive possibilities. It impressively shows how powerful shapes and colors harmonize with each other and ultimately create a fascinating order in the apparent chaos. Her focus is on acrylic painting. After commercial training and a career-related break, she returned to painting in 2017 and has worked exclusively as a contemporary artist since 2021.
She now sells her works internationally and exhibits in well-known galleries.
Christin Kirchner was born in Lower Saxony in 1979 and lives and works in Ulm, Baden-Württemberg.
This series deals with the abstraction and interpretation of one's own history. A lot of what looks like something specific can be completely different. There's always something I don't see, something you don't see, and always something both of us don't see.
Each painting begins with a wild, improvised process - at least it seems so. In fact, it is an important awareness-raising process to consciously incorporate current themes into the artwork. The Artist looks for solutions and possibilities to bring the colors and forms into a harmonious arrangement and shows that everything makes sense and that nothing happens without a reason. Everything is connected. Every spoken word, and every action always influences the whole world. With pallet knife, brush and her hands, the Artist creates a balanced order in apparent chaos.
A polarity that every life brings with it - one cannot without the other.
