The painting was made during the corona lockdown and is inspired by the book ‘Verdermeer’ by Tahereh Mafi. Her special and colorful story inspired the Artist to use sheet metal to process parts of the text in the forest. As with a real forest, the atmosphere and appearance of the work of Art are strongly influenced by the incidence of (sun) light.
