L'ARBRE

This collection brings together a series of paintings created between 2006 and 2015 in medium to large formats whose main characteristic is to associate image and text in a close symbiosis. The written word is both an aesthetic and graphic element, enriching the image and a code linked to the deep meaning of the work. Often drawn in mirror image, the words or sentences written in several languages (French, English, Spanish, Latin) sound like a background noise, a subliminal communication to decode. Portraits or characters in a situation in an urban or imaginary universe, these oil paintings are also all turned towards the human figure, except for Isis, although if you look closely the central figure hides a body...
