Romeo was born in Tavush, Armenia. Graduated from Panos Terlemezian State Collage of Arts, Yerevan, Armenia. Member of the International Federation of Artists and the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation. Member of the Union of Artists, Yerevan, Armenia. Participated in a number of group exhibitions in Armenia, Russia, Lebanon, Serbia, Germany, the Netherlands and England. Awarded with diplomas and letters of recognition. Since 2019, Romeo Melikyan's paintings have been on permanent display at the Museum of Modern Art in Yerevan, Armenia. Romeo Melikyan's paintings are in private collections in Armenia, Russia, Lebanon, German Netherlands, UK and USA.
